Amazon Integration v2.08 Now Available

Camiloo are pleased to announce availability of our latest update to the Camiloo Amazon Integration for Magento. This update is the result of more than 50 hours worked in just 3 days by our UK based dev team, and we feel it vital to praise them for their dedication to our customers.

This major update changes the way in which the module communicates with Amazon. From this update forward, the module will only contact Amazon when product data is updated, or when you complete the setup process outlined in our integrated manual. This also has a clear and vital advantage over previous versions, as the module now updates stock in 5 minute snapshots based on sales which have been made on your website.

We have also rewritten from scratch the ‘License Store’ page, and have found the cause of Firefox compatibility issues relating to the Bulk Upload and Bulk Download facilities.

Detailed Changelog

• - Fixed Firefox compatability issues relating to Bulk Download / Bulk Upload / Automatch not running.
• - Fixed error with Automatch: ‘simple_response undefined’.
• - Added indexing to database tables to greatly increase performance
• - Reworked product publish feed generation code to make this much more efficient
• - Added product feed validation – your product data will be validated prior to submission to Amazon from now on
• - New Section: View Problems. This section will describe, in plain english, errors which were encountered when trying to submit data about a product. You are then given the option to edit the manual setup of this product, and product data will automatically retry submission when you declare that the issue is resolved.
• - Reworked license store page; Magento secure base URL is now automatically populated, and ‘cannot checkout’ issue is solved
• - New submission process for product data: Product data will now be generated as Manual setup completes and will only be submitted once. Stock data will be updated as products sell on your website, and product data will also be updated whenever a product is saved within the Magento Admin Area.
• - As a result, a new button has been added to the Manual Setup page: ‘Resubmit All Product Data’; this button will resubmit all data to Amazon. Please note that this may take 1 to 2 hours to run fully depending on your catalogue size.
• - Fixed incorrect title on the Bulk Setup of Variations page.
• - Reworked entirely the ‘Estimated Time Remaining’ calculation code to produce incredibly accurate time estimation.
• - Reworked bulk download / bulk upload engine to provide 400% faster downloads and uploads.
• - Fixed error on line 409 of Amazonlink.php.
• - Added FULL support for installations within subdirectories
• - Module no longer uses ‘cache’ values for marketplace selection storage; instead session values are used.
