Global Amazon Integration Version 2.15 now available
Camiloo has today released the latest update to its popular Amazon integration module for Magento. While mainly a performance and general optimisations release, the new version contains a critical patch for those who have moved to Magento v1.4.2.0 already which ensures order items are imported correctly. Read on for a full unedited change log.
Remember that installing this update is easy. If you have the module installed via Magento Connect already:
– Visit /downloader on your Magento store [ e.g. myshop.com/downloader ] and log in as admin.
– Click ‘check for upgrades’
– Select ‘upgrade’ next to the module in the list of installed modules
– Wait for Magento to do the upgrade for you.
If you are new to the module, installing this ‘latest and greatest’ release is also easy. A free 14 day trial of the module is available to you, after which you can choose to subscribe to a monthly license (£33). However, to take a free no-risk 14 day trial, simply follow the below steps.
– Visit /downloader on your Magento store [ e.g. myshop.com/downloader ] and log in as admin.
– When prompted, enter extension key to install magento-community/Camiloo_Amazonimport
– Click install and wait for Magento to do the hard work for you.
– Once Magento tells you everything has finished, click ‘Return to admin’.
You will be asked to log in again; this is just the module making sure that you can access it straight away.
– Next, visit Amazon > Help > View / Update License in your Admin menu, and on the page that loads click License Store.
– Follow the steps on screen to register for your free trial (no card information needed).
– Once complete, check out the knowledgebase under Amazon > Help > Knowledgebase.

- Prevent Communication log from growing beyond 250 rows and added initial code to cure issues relating to communication logs with more than 50,000 rows being unable to clear via the module.
- Removed PHP Short tags from overview screen
- Tax ID Attribute Mapping for Quick Setup products added (one per marketplace)
- Option to force disabled products previously listed on Amazon to Quantity of 0.
- Fixed product count discrepancies in the Quick Setup Wizard on a small number of installations
- Added support across the module for displaying attribute values from the selected store under ‘import orders into store’ including the Quick Setup Wizard, all CSV files, all grid views and the Manual Data Entry stage of the Advanced setup wizard.
- Fixed issue with memory management failure during feed generation.
- Fixed issue with inventory not communicating rapidly to Amazon.
- Fixed compatibility issue with Magento v1.4.2.0 which led to order items not being imported.
- Added licensing server downtime proofing; this means that you won’t be told you don’t have a license when you do ever again.
- First Magento Connect release of the module to allow support for PHP 5.3 or greater.
- Fixed error on Variations screen on installations where invalid xml xpath resulted in exception rather than 0.
- Various speed and performance enhancements.
