Take a Tour: Price Options

Tailor your prices
There is nothing worse than finding that
you’ve sold an item for less than you
could have potentially sold it for.
Because of this, our module includes
features which enable you to tailor
your prices.
What controls are available?
You can opt to inflate the prices which your products are sold for on Amazon. This enables you to recoup fees from using services such as Fulfilment By Amazon or recoup listing commission fees by charging a small amount more for a product. You can choose to add a percentage, value, or combination of both to your products. These values are loaded from product attributes, meaning that you can tailor pricing on a per product basis.
If you wish to inflate all of your product prices by a fixed percentage, for example if your products are stored without tax, an option has also been created for this. For example, a UK based merchant who has entered all of their prices exclusive of VAT within Magento can use this feature to add tax at 17.5% (20% from January 2011) to all of their products.
By default, the module ignores ‘special price’ settings on products within Magento. If however you would like the module to follow these rules (e.g. reduce price on Amazon to the special price during the given to / from dates) an option is given to allow this.
Finally, if you are a developer who perhaps wishes to import pricing with pre-calculated inflation from an external source and submit this to Amazon, you will be pleased to know that you can instruct the module to use the value of a custom product attribute instead of the standard magento Price attribute as the price which will be submitted to Amazon.
