Kit Creator for Magento
Does your online store sell items in pre-packaged ‘kits’ or ‘bundles’ made up of items from your stock? If so, you need The Kit Creator. It provides the only way to manage the stock levels of your kit form items within Magento.
Overview
Magento features support for ‘Bundle’ product listings, but these listings only decrease your stock level when an order is placed. Manually fulfilling complex multiple-item bundles is inefficient and could lead to one component of the bundle being out of stock. Instead, we have created ‘The Kit Creator’.
The module works by allowing you to define that a product in your Magento catalogue is a ‘Kit’. This Kit product can then be assigned components and component quantities from an easy to use interface which allows you to search for products, add them to a kit and remove them again from the same screen in the admin area.
