eBay UK Integration for Magento v1.1
Camiloo is proud to release another world first module for Magento eCommerce. This module allows eBay UK merchants to seamlessly integrate the platform with Magento. This enables Magento to become a centralised reference point for order management and customer query handling.
System Requirements
- eBay listings must use the same SKU code as your Magento Products.
- Magento cron.php cronjob must be set up.
What features does the module provide?
Orders
Orders are imported from eBay every 30 minutes including all customer data and items. Items can have different prices to those on your Magento website meaning that this module is perfect for using offering auctions on their eBay account.
Payments
If a customer has won an item but does not pay immediately (normally this is the process in an auction) the order is imported as ‘Awaiting Payment’ in Magento. Then, when the order is paid for, the module upgrades the status of the order to ‘Processing’.
If payment for the item is made by PayPal eCheque, the order will remain at ‘Payment Pending’ status until the eCheque clears. Then, eBay notifies the module that payment has cleared and the module upgrades the status of the order to ‘Awaiting Payment’.
Please note: The module uses the ‘check / money order’ payment method within Magento. If you do not allow this method on your website, you may find it useful to rename it to ‘eBay Payment’. The payment method does not need to be enabled in order for the module to work.
Dispatches
As soon as you create a shipment for an order within Magento, the module will automatically call eBay and inform it that the item has been shipped. This will trigger an email to the customer from eBay informing them that their item has been dispatched.
